About
Hi, I’m Jet. I wrote software for a couple of decades — Fortune 500 shops, a five-nines wholesale banking platform, the works — before a run-in with InfoSec in 2014 turned me into a security person on purpose. I hold a CSSLP and GWAPT, and I spent years building an AppSec program from the ground up for a large healthcare innovator: hundreds of developers, dozens of applications, real DevSecOps pipelines, zero hiccups.
Today I’m a Distinguished Engineer in Product Security with a heavy focus on AI security — driving security programs at the same velocity AI is shipping software, without dropping the quality bar.
A few things I believe and will argue cheerfully:
- Security is about protecting people, not passing audits.
- The SDLC matters more in the agent era, not less. Vibe coding fails because it skips the plan, not because the model is dumb.
- Build agents that close the loop — not assistants that leave the work on your desk.
Off the clock: ham radio (on the air and at the workbench), smoked brisket experiments, and 3D-printed FPV quads.
